Aux Comp and run time?

Just wondering how many of you watch the time that your aux comp turns on and off?

Ours runs about 1 1/2 mins at a time.  I don't know how often.  I will write down a time and then forget to record the time again.  ;D

*Snork*  Glad we're not the only ones!

Not only do we time it, but we also say "good pop off!" when it shuts off and the blow-off solenoid opens (meaning that solenoid hasn't been leaking during pump up).  1 1/2 minutes is about right unless it's actively leveling.

How often it runs depends on the temperature swings during the day.  We can tell when the nights are starting to get cool because it will run first thing in the morning, right around sunrise when it's coolest outside.

ETA I also time the vacuum generator on the toilet....

Snork - What pray tell is a "Snork"?  ;D

We were getting no pop off until our friend Bill B wired the solenoid to work again.

You have to hear it and you'll recognize what I mean.  Inward laugh through the sinuses is about the best way to describe it.

Run time.....in three weeks parked level, about four minutes run time.  Only heard run one time, but was in coach only several hours in the day so may have been more run times.  similar cycle in four weeks stay another trip, heard only two or three times.

Interesting about temp change impacts.

I don't recall ever hearing our Aux Comp come on since Bernd replaced our air bags last August.

And we spend a lot of time in our coach.

Someone here commented that Bernd uses connectors that don't leak, much if at all.

I was just getting ready for lunch. :D

I make it a rule to turn it off if leaving the coach. I came back to the compressor running after being gone for a couple of hours. The compressor was hot and while I quickly found the leak, I'm glad I noticed it before the batteries ran down or the compressor was damaged.
