Har! I have been too busy to check in here all that often... yessir, when you're in this neck of the woods and the air isn't dark brown, come fly with us!
Balloon Depot | We offer the most unique and adventurous hot air balloon...

Done one balloon ride. It was in Capadocia, Turkey and was a sunrise flight. There were at least 30-40 Very large envelope balloons floating about. 19 people in each gondola. A bit crowded but was still an awesome experience.

Next time we head over the hill to Seattle. We will book a flight.

California is once again a good place to live and visit. The smoke is just about gone with only a very slight haze looking across our canyon. Most places are in the green now with zero indicating no particulates. Look up your California destination at AirNow - Highest Current AQI for CA
For a map and legend plus zip code entry for your destination, try: https://airnow.gov/index.cfm?action=airnow.local_city&zipcode=95949&submit=Go

Sorry about the bad link, I corrected it.

We begin our move east today from Gold Beach to Medford to visit family after delaying a month on the Oregon Coast.  We'll run south on I5 to 199 through Grants Pass. Then in a week east out of Medford on 140 to  I-80.  Will post conditions as we go.

Looking better up in northern Puget Sound, looks like they've had it with their 'smoke-filled skies'  ^.^d

Arrived Shady Cove just north of Medford.  No issues on 101, 197 or 199 and I5.  Beautiful drive along the Smith River!  Only the slightest haze over Medford and clear in Shady Cove.  Temps in mid 80's and tonites low projected at 50.  All good!

Randy,

When you get to the NW corner of Nevada just before Denio, Bog Hot Springs is about a mile off 140. When the water comes out of the ground, it's too hot but a few feet downstream, it's perfect.
