Chevron transition to Synblend only for Delo400

Doing maintenance for an upcoming trip to Idaho.  Ordered 10 gallons of Delo400 from Napa - FYI, today is last day of order online & pickup in store with 20% off - saved money on oil & wheel bearings/races/seals for the trailer!  Napa manager informed me that Chevron is doing away with regular Delo400 and they will only be offering a Synthetic Blend here in the very near future.

I did a quick forum search for "Delo" and didn't see any mention of this.  Should we stock up on the regular old Dino oil?  Or is Synthetic Blend OK for our older diesel engines (ISM450 here) moving forward?  (like we have a choice!?!)

I was really tempted to buy 10 gallons of Kirkland 15W-40 diesel engine oil yesterday at just over $11/gallon, but remembered the promotion at Napa and it was only $60 more for the Chevron oil which I've used since purchasing the coach.

There's been an ongoing migration for many years away from conventional diesel engine oils toward synthetic and synthetic blends, and Chevron Lubricants' Delo brand is expediting that transition on the product side by dropping its popular Delo 400 SDE 10W-30 and 15W-40, along with its Delo 400 XLE 15W-40.

I just used the newer Delo 400 XLE SB
Figured that I would have to switch sooner or later.
Chevron claims that it meets or exceeds the older Delo 400 SDE

Warren distributors, same as Walmart's brand Super-Tech. I tried it one time, had to add between change interval so no savings. It does meet Cummins requirements but I'll stay with Delo 15/40, I think they are all going to a blend.

My opinion but I don't see the mentality of "synthetic blend",why only use partial synthetic, been using Amsoil 15w40 signature
in my coach with 250K miles and it runs great.(not good for older engines is another synthetic myth).
